My thoughts on the social world, politically and anthropologically
Cara Lee
I have a great interest in the world around me, and hope this blog will allow me to further look into my areas of intrigue: why things work the what they do, how actors and institutions interact, the implications of this, etc.
I am fascinated by the fluidity of social dynamics in shaping this, and the impacts of this fluidity on the seemingly volatile political landscape, and the broader impacts of this on society.
I am reading these subjects further at degree level, and am enthralled by the level of nuance and depth they provide, which this blog will allow me to explore.
I am a student at Durham University, studying Combined Honours in Social Science, specifically Anthropology and Politics, which I greatly enjoy as I find humanities to be an extremely interesting academic field, especially the social and political sciences. I have a great love for academics and will use the blog as a way to explore and consolidate ideas. I’m very interested in any comments, further points, ideas or questions from people, as I would like this to be a productive learning space for everyone interested.
I will post essays and opinion pieces on topics I find particularly interesting and have written about, but of course would love any further points or feedback. I am really motivated develop my academic competence and confidence, and hope that the blog will enable me to improve in this sense.
